Weizenbock 7.9%

Our tall, dark and strong German. One batch only, brewed by popular request, only available in bottles.

This Dark wheat beer presents deep rich toasty chocolate and nut characters, created by our blend of Vienna, Chocolate and Wheat malts. It is highly carbonated for a soft delicate mouthfeel, and we use traditional wheat beer yeasts to develop clove and banana aromatics. The sweet characters and high alcohol of this style are balanced subtly by our own Tettnanger and Halletauer hops.

The head on this Pilsner from Red Hill Brewery is amazing. Sitting atop of the deep golden unfiltered beer is a super fine, super dense, just off-white foam which leaves a beautiful lacing on the glass. A great sign of what's to come. The aroma is enticing and draws you deeper into your glass; spice, a hint of sweetness and a touch of florals all merge perfectly. This pilsner drinks super smooth, has some real body thanks to the higher than average ABV for this style and then bang... the bitterness hits and stays and stays.
