Flinders Village has a superb array of art galleries, cafes and the iconic Flinders Hotel. Take a look at the eclectic Cook St Collective to see a wide range of local artisans work under the one roof. Or stroll along the beach and pier and pickup some freshly picked mussels from the fishermen on the jetty.

We have some amazing local artists living in the local area. Nearby you can find Michael Leeworthy, Gordon Glassblowers and Marion Rosetzky all open regularly. Marion’s handpainted tiles adorn the kitchen. Whitehill Gallery and the Cook Street Collective in Flinders both feature artisans from the region in their galleries.

In the Brewer’s Cottage we have featured artworks from;

Gillian Haig
Renowned local artist & previous owner of the Brewer’s Cottage, it was her family home, studio and the gardens provided her with much of her inspiration that still influences her work today. Especially the apple tree in the paddock, her “Tree of Life”. We have some of Gillians work featured, you are welcome to purchase. Please contact us.

Michael Leeworthy
Our neighbour is a seasoned gallery and commission artist whose work encompasses an unusually wide range of styles. Michael is capable of drawing anything requested, but continues to paint whatever comes from his heart onto his brush. Michael’s gallery is open, he runs art classes and provides information on local walks - 1.3km
