WIN A $100 JACK’S CANTEEN EXPERIENCE

After a short break from 25th – 27th December, Jack’s Canteen (kitchen & bar) will be OPEN 7days from 11am – 7pm from 28th December throughout January.

The kitchen is open from 11am – 7pm.  Enjoy lunch, snacks or early dinner throughout the month of January.

A $100 gift voucher for an amazing Jack’s Canteen experience is being awarded to one lucky person.  The voucher is valid for use at Jack’s Canteen before 30/4/24 on any  food, beer or drinks of choice at the venue.

Entries close 1st January, can only be used at the venue – Jack’s Canteen, and have to be redeemed by 30/4/24. Promoted on multiple platforms. There will be only 1 winner.

Welcome to Jack’s Canteen at Red Hill Brewery, THE Summer Pop Up of the season everyone is talking about – a celebration of Craft, Comfort, and the Great Outdoors!
Discover the laid-back charm of Jack’s Canteen, an extension of the beloved Jack Frost Restaurant at Mt Hotham.

The menu is a cheerful nod to the simplicity and satisfaction of bar cuisine, where ‘Casual Meets Craft.’
From the crowd favourite “Let it Rip” beer-battered Flathead Tacos to the hearty Smoked Cheddar & Jalapeno Bratwurst with mustard onion, each dish is carefully crafted to complement the awesome Red Hill Brewery’s craft beers.

Like Hotham’s Davenport Village, this unique location promises a memorable experience.
As the sun sets behind the gum trees, the space transforms into a serene haven, inviting you to savor the twilight hours with early dinners (kitchen open all day from 11am to 7pm) cool vibes, a beer in hand, and the comfort of good company.

The new offering also extends beyond craft beers, and Jack’s famous cocktails are proving a welcomed addition to brewery visitors who may otherwise have sipped soft drinks – as well as a large range of wines to ensure everyone finds something to enjoy.
Meet the heart and soul of Jack’s Canteen – Sarah, Lisa, and Sean. These friendly faces from Hotham now welcome and serve you at Red Hill South.

If you have an up-and-coming celebration or special occasion, they welcome your enquiry – they’ll ensure that the food, beverage and fantastic service helps shape your perfect relaxed function or private event.
Join them as they open the shop, bar & kitchen from 11 am to 7 pm, Thursday to Sunday, for lunch and dinner.
Enjoy extra trading hours from Jan 1st to Jan 28th -they’ll be open 7 days a week!

Our famed Christmas Ale, the stunning Belgian Abbey Ale, has nearly sold out in record time.  The last of the beer is only available at Jack’s Canteen, over the bar at Red Hill Brewery. In a 4 pack, or a mixed 6 pack, its the last drops, and makes the ideal Christmas Gift or accompaniment to the Christmas pudding.

Also on tap, be sure to make a day of it and try a few goblets on tap.

Jack Frost Hits the Beach (and the Brews) at Red Hill Brewery, Starts Thursday 2nd Nov with $1 wings and an exciting new menu!

Wander in over the long weekend and meet the crew of Jack’s Canteen – the team from the renowned Jack Frost Restaurant Mt Hotham ski resort, hit the beach (and the Brews) kicking off this Thursday and Friday from 11am-7pm with $1 Wings and a new menu to compliment Red Hill Brewery!

Jack’s menu will feature a few of their iconic dishes with a brewhouse twist
* “Let it Rip” beer-battered Flathead Tacos with Jack’s Mescal spiked slaw
* Scotch Ale Bratwurst with caramelised onions & caraway seeded mustard
* The all time favour Brewery Platter of delicious meats.

Trading 11am – 7pm Thursday to Monday this long weekend.

OKTOBERFEST SPECIALTY MIXED CRAFT BEER PACK WITH BEER GLASS

BIG SMOKE 7.5%– Rauchbock, brewed for the members of our Secret Stash Beer Club, Big & Smoky, this Rauchbock uses lager yeast & a cool long ferment to create an iconic Bamberg classic smoked strong bock. The first sip of a smoked beer can be a little unusual, but it only takes until the second sip to start to enjoy the complexity of the malt driven flavours that bring the comforting flavours of smoky bacon and campfire to your mouth.

KOLSCH 5% – Our famous Golden Ale, brewed in the style of the true Kolsch from Cologne, a real easy drinker

HEFEWEIZEN 5% – the traditional Bavarian Weizen, Wheat Beer, with the amazing yeast and cloudiness the style is renowned for

PILSNER 5.2% – An iconic clean Lager, boosted with a malty flavour and an extra infusion of hops

Bringing in his spit, he will be slow cooking lamb and chicken for magnificent open souvlaki platters to share with all the trimmings. Expect dips, pitta, Greek salad, bbqd meats, fries and more.

Charlie Owen is one of Australia’s most sought after and respected musicians, the guitarist of choice for the likes of Chrissy Amphlett, Jimmy Barnes and Tex Perkins amongst many others.  He has toured the world extensively since the early 80’s and played on countless recordings.  Charlie grew up in an artistic family hence his involvement in the visual arts,  and is a regular member of the City of Melbourne Arts Grants Assessment Panel.  He has done numerous sound installations and continues to work collaboratively with Lisa Roet on many of her installations involving sound & sound oassociated visuals.

On Sunday afternoon, Charlie Owen will join us for a Sunday session of the Blues to enjoy with your dark brews and barbecue.
