Our iconic dark brew. Scotch Ale is the colour of burnished copper, strong with a caramely sweetness. A malt driven beer, lightly balanced with classic Goldings and Willamette hop flowers. A very special grain recipe is what makes this brew so malty and tasty, a very special blend of English Malts, some of which are dark roasted to impart the toffee and sweet flavours of this ale. Brewed to the style of the Wee Heavy of Scotland, it is an exceptional style that fits so well with our philosophy of brewing beers that are enjoyable to drink.
