WHAT IS A KOLSCH?
Do you know what a Kölsch is? Our Golden Ale is one!
A style famous in Cologne, Germany for its brightness, clarity and easy drinking style. Fermented with ale yeast, then finished with cool lagering. The result is the best of both worlds: A light easy drinking pale that finishes crisp and clean.
This new name for our fave brew will provide enlightenment for the craft beer lover about the style they are enjoying.

A carton of 16 mixed bottles and cans pickup or delivered includes 4 of each of the below classic German styles, brewed at our own Red Hill Brewery
BIG SMOKE 7.5%– Rauchbock, brewed for the members of our Secret Stash Beer Club, Big & Smoky, this Rauchbock uses lager yeast & a cool long ferment to create an iconic Bamberg classic smoked strong bock. The first sip of a smoked beer can be a little unusual, but it only takes until the second sip to start to enjoy the complexity of the malt driven flavours that bring the comforting flavours of smoky bacon and campfire to your mouth.
KOLSCH 5% – Our famous Golden Ale, brewed in the style of the true Kolsch from Cologne, a real easy drinker
HEFEWEIZEN 5% – the traditional Bavarian Weizen, Wheat Beer, with the amazing yeast and cloudiness the style is renowned for
PILSNER 5.2% – An iconic clean Lager, boosted with a malty flavour and an extra infusion of hops

We have waited many months to say those words…… we are excited to hear the beer buzz, the happy hum of people enjoying a good beer or 3!
Starting this Thursday 25th June, we are open, Thu-Sun 11am-6pm for seated drinks only. We have beer, wine and cider. Currently no food is available and seated drinks service is available to over 18s only.
We can also offer tastings (only seated tastings are possible and if a seat is available).
We continue to offer takeaways of all our available beers. And you can order all our beers online for pickup or delivery.
At this stage we are not taking bookings and seats are limited.
